Wildlife Beyond Borders Final Artists’ Talk
Saturday, December 12 (2 – 5PM): Final Artists’ Talk at PhotoCentral Wildlife Beyond Borders Exhibit.
Artists will be present on December 12 to give private tours of the exhibit. Wildlife Beyond Borders exhibit is a tremendous success. Over 1,000 visitors have seen the show and here are a few comments:
“This show is worth your time. The images are beautiful, the explanations have deep meanings, and I learned a ton about the cause the artists support.” – Mark D.
“This show is amazing. I am mesmerized by the animals, the locations, what it likely took to capture these images.” – Diane F.
“Plan the visit as a family outing. My kids loved it, and as they are a lot more techie than I am, we were able to watch all these aurasma videos on their cell phone. WOW! We are still talking about the shows and our desire to travel to these locations. Having the book on our coffee table is a wonderful souvenir.” Marten Family
“The book brings the healing power of nature to me at times when I cannot experience nature by going outside.” Marlis M.
“The gallery comes alive with the addition of banners and well sequenced images. What a success. I have seen shows at PhotoCentral for over 20 years, and this one rises to the top of the list.” Marco T.
“The artists are down to earth and passionate about their craft. It is a pleasure listening to them when they offer private tours of the exhibit. You can feel in their voice that there is more than an image hanging on the wall. It is pure PASSION.” Helena P.
“As I am planing a trip to Africa next year, one of my friends told me to rush to Wildlife Beyond Borders to get idea on what you can see in Africa. She was RIGHT. The show did open my eyes about photographing wildlife. WOW … WOW.” Pat M.
“There is only one thing I dearly regret. I wish I would be a millionaire and could buy all these images. They are masterly designed. The quotes on the banners are so powerful and truthful. The book is a good memory, but I want these big elephants in my living room. Will keep your business cards handy for when I win the lottery!” Terrence T.
“I am speechless. I have visited the exhibit three times and can’t wait for the next artists’ talk. See you on December 12!” Kathy C.
Remember to mark your calendar – December 12 (2 – 5PM) at PhotoCentral.

Volunteers (Frank Silva, Philip Garbutt), curator (Oliver Klink) and gallery director (Geir Jordahl) have completed the installation of the show. PhotoCentral got transformed into a place where fine art wildlife images found their place. The show flows to connect earth with the underwater world, to juxtapose images that mimic each other, to create a sense of peacefulness when needed, and to reach to the theme from beauty to deeper understanding.
Silk banners, hanging from the ceiling, invite the viewers to pause and reflect on the state of wildlife.
Augmented Reality is a unique feature for this show. The visitor can discover behind the scene stories by pointing their smart phone at trigger images.
Opening reception is on September 26 (2 – 5PM)
